Nach drei actiongeladenen Bänden überrascht Sarah J. Maas mit einer ruhigeren, nachdenklicheren Geschichte. Hier geht es nicht um epische Schlachten, sondern um Heilung, Aufarbeitung und das Schmieden neuer Pläne. Ich fand es schön, die Charaktere in einem etwas alltäglicheren Umfeld zu erleben und zu sehen, wie sie versuchen, nach dem Krieg wieder Frieden zu finden. Besonders die emotionalen Momente zwischen den Figuren haben mir sehr gefallen, weil sie die Bindungen und Konflikte vertiefen. Was mir gefallen hat: Der Band gibt der Geschichte und den Charakteren Raum zum Atmen. Es gibt herzerwärmende Szenen, die zeigen, wie viel Tiefe Sarah J. Maas ihren Figuren verleiht. Außerdem werden subtile Hinweise auf kommende Konflikte gestreut, die neugierig machen. Persönliche Anmerkung: Für mich war das Buch wie ein ruhiger Atemzug nach dem Sturm – perfekt, um sich emotional auf das nächste große Abenteuer vorzubereiten. Wer allerdings die gleiche Spannung wie in Band 3 erwartet, könnte diesen Teil zu langsam finden. Fazit: Ein stiller, gefühlvoller Übergangsband, der sich auf Heilung und Hoffnung konzentriert und gleichzeitig neugierig auf die kommenden Ereignisse macht.
