Toby's Room

Set against the backdrop of World War I, the story follows Elinor Brooke, a young painter in London, as she grapples with the disappearance of her brother Toby, a medical officer. Refusing to accept his presumed death, Elinor discovers a letter suggesting Toby anticipated his fate and that his friend Kit Neville holds crucial answers. As she seeks the truth, Elinor also channels her artistic talents to help reconstruct the lives of wounded soldiers, exploring themes of loss, trauma, and the enduring bonds of family.
