The Other Side of the Wire

Set in Germany during 1935, a Jewish boy named Hans Koch seizes the chance to escape persecution by assuming a new identity as a girl named Hanna. While initially embracing this role, her life becomes increasingly complicated when Ernst Richter, the SS officer's husband she lives with, takes command of a concentration camp. As the war progresses, Hanna confronts the horrors of the regime and ultimately risks everything to save a life, leading to a profound struggle for her own humanity and moral integrity.
