Wise Child

The story follows 9-year-old Wise Child, who, after losing her grandmother and father, is welcomed into the home of Juniper, a healer and sorceress. Under Juniper's guidance, Wise Child thrives as she learns about herbal remedies and magic. However, her newfound sense of belonging is threatened by the unexpected return of her mother, Maeve, a powerful black witch, introducing tension and conflict into Wise Child's life in the Scottish village.
