Date einen Hollywoodstar Edie wird vor ungeahnte Herausforderungen gestellt, als sie sich auf eine Beziehung mit dem Hollywoodstar Elliot Owen einlässt. Ein auf und ab der Gefühle und Emotionen. Immer wieder finden sich auch recht unterhaltsame Passagen, die einen zum Schmunzeln bringen. Das Cover mit dem Farbschnitt finde ich richtig schön und passend zur Story. Die Story selbst konnte mich leider nicht ganz überzeugen und hat sich eher schleppend dahingezogen. War der Anfang noch recht vielversprechend wurde es dann immer anstrengender zu lesen. Viel Drama und wenig Tiefgang. Auch die Charaktere waren für meinen Geschmack etwas zu oberflächlich. Mir hat das gewisse Etwas gefehlt und der Funke ist nicht wirklich übergesprungen. Ich habe daher relativ lange gebraucht, um das Buch zu beenden. Schade, da ich mir nach dem Lesen des Klappentextes etwas anderes erwartet bzw. erhofft hatte. Für mich war es das erste Buch der Autorin. Nach der jetzigen Leseerfahrung weiß ich nicht, ob ich noch weitere Bücher von ihr lesen werde.
