Catching The Deuce

The story follows thirteen-year-old Cheo Hernandez, a talented baseball player living in The Bronx with his mother. His life takes a turn when Pelios, a recently released convict linked to a mob murder, arrives in the neighborhood. With rumors of hidden treasure swirling around Pelios, his sudden disappearance casts suspicion on Cheo and his friend, City Island Pete. As the boys navigate the dangers of their environment, they must confront both the challenges of adolescence and the perilous situation that has unfolded around them.
