In the spring of 1967, Jesse hops onto a train to skip town for a few days. Five hundred miles away, Sara does the same, desperate to escape a dark shame. When their paths cross in the middle of nowhere neither has any idea how much their lives will change. On a whim, the two agree to travel together, crossing the country in search of adventure. What they find is so much more. With each mile that passes, Jesse and Sara's attraction for one another grows even as their time together draws short.
