There is an opening for a radio announcer at WHJ radio station in Harper's Junction. Neil has his heart set on taking the job. But his grades are slipping, and a family tragedy puts Neil's hopes on hold. Will he ever take flight "On Air?" Join the kids in Harper's Junction as they make plans for the summer of 1972.
