The study focuses on the ecology of the rare endemic species Fritillaria oranensis Pomel in the Tessala mountains of western Algeria. It aims to identify the causes of its rarity through habitat analysis and evaluation of ecological and biological parameters. Observations reveal a population of only six individuals, highlighting the species' endangered status in the area. The research underscores the urgent need for conservation efforts to protect this unique species from extinction.

Focusing on the ecological and economic significance of Arbutus unedo L, this work emphasizes its role in biodiversity and the need for preservation. It explores the plant's therapeutic properties through the characterization of its phytochemical compounds and antioxidant activities. Dit werk bestudeert de ecologie van de zeldzame endemische soort Fritillaria oranensis Pomel op de berg Tessala in West-Algerije.
