Children Of The New Forest

Set during the English Civil War, the story follows the four Beverley children—Edward, Humphrey, Alice, and Edith—who become orphans and seek refuge in the New Forest. They learn to survive off the land while embodying ideals of manhood and womanhood, even influencing a gypsy boy named Pablo.
