Looking Backward

Julian West, a 19th-century aristocrat, leads a life of privilege and indifference towards the struggles of the lower classes. After a hypnotic sleep in his bunker, he awakens a century later to a transformed world marked by gender equality, poverty eradication, and fair labor rights. Guided by Doctor Leete and his daughter Edith, Julian confronts his past prejudices and the realities of modern society. However, upon returning to his own time, he grapples with skepticism about his experiences, questioning whether the ideal future was merely a dream.
