Das Buch „Eine Maus namens Merlin" handelt vom alleine sein und von Altern, von Freundschaft und neue Hoffnung zu finden. Ich habe das Buch sehr geliebt. Der Schreibstil ist angenehm flüssig und macht es leicht, in die Geschichte einzutauchen. Die Charaktere konnte man direkt ins Herz schließen und man hat mit ihnen gehofft, getrauert und sich mitgefreut. Auch wenn auf die Handlung bezogen nicht all zu viel passiert, blieb ich doch förmlich am Buch kleben und wollte immer weiterlesen. Die Geschichte regt außerdem zum Nachdenken über verschiedene Themen an. Man wird eingeladen, auch selbst so manche alltägliche Dinge zu hinterfragen, was mir sehr gefallen hat. Auch die Entwicklung der Charaktere empfand ich als sehr gelungen. Alles in allem ein richtig schönes Wohlfühlbuch um es gemütlich unter einer Decke mit einer Tasse Tee zu lesen. Klare Empfehlung.
