Something New

The plot revolves around the engagement of Freddie and Aline, who come from wealthy families and seek to enhance their social standing. Freddie's anxiety over old letters to an ex leads him to hire a dubious fixer to retrieve them. Meanwhile, Aline's father, American billionaire J. Preston Peters, invites Freddie's father, the Earl of Emsworth, for a visit, where an accidental theft of a prized beetle creates tension.
