The biography details the early life of Sir Thomas More, highlighting his connections to influential figures like Cardinal John Morton. Born in 1478, More's education began at St. Anthony's School and continued in Morton's household, where he was groomed for success. His studies at Canterbury College, Oxford, under prominent scholars, fostered his intellectual growth, particularly in Greek. The narrative captures More's ascent from a young boy in a patron-client relationship to a promising scholar, setting the stage for his future achievements.
